Have had two Reps loose data this week due to hardware failure and they didn't have a Backup. Backing up is built in to MBA (see main menu File->Backup). 

It is not "if" your Hard drive will fail/die, it is "when". Drives are mechanical and will all die eventually. 

The Backup in MBA is fairly fast so it is convenient to use (you should backup a minimum of once every campaign). Always do one Backup per campaign to an external device (USB drive, CD or DVD disk). I see 2 gig USB thumb drives on Sale for under $10 all the time.

If you have a Backup you can loose you PC and still be up and running in just minutes after getting it fixed or getting a new one. Just download MBA from website, install, run Restore with your latest/newest Backup file.
